55 War - But Why?
I've heard tons of people say that a 55 War cant' work. So, I decided to actually build one and see for myself if it could be done. Here's what I came up with:
ATTRIBUTES
Healing - 8
Prot - 10
Strength and your weapon should be about even, but give love to strength if you can spare the points... helm either str or weapon, of course.
Weapon can be either sword or axe, your preference.
Armor should probably be gladiator, but I use Plate just for fun, and don't have any problems.
Skills:
Warrior's Endurance
Healing Breeze
Protective Spirit
Mending
That leaves 4 slots for your damage output. Use whatever skills you would like.. lean toward adren skills, but you should be able to mix in a low energy cost skill or two. (If you use axe, cyclone axe can be fun, especially with trolls)
Strategy
Run towards whatever, cast prot spirit when you are close, and breeze if there are more than 3 of them. (Vigorous Spirit is nice too if you included it)
When you start whacking on them, use Warrior's Endurance to start gaining back energy with each swing. Use cyclone axe if there are 3 or more enemies for very fast energy gain.
Even with high Strength, there are about 8 seconds when Warrior Endurance drops where you don't have it available... time this well so you are high on energy when it drops. That way, you can cast a Breeze, a Prot Spirit, and still have energy to Warrior Endurance when it is available.
An enchant extending weapon is nice if you have one.
With this build, a W/Mo 55 actually works... but again.. why would you want to use it when there are other builds that can solo just as easily, and kill much faster... I just wanted to see if I could make one work reliably

Well since you're going with Warrior's Endurance for your elite, I think using some adenaline skills from swordsmanship will be great.
Sever Artery + Gash + Final Thrust or something like that.

It used to be fun to farm griffons and tengu elite (remember them?) with a 55hp warrior. This was back in the SoW and Bal's Aura days.
Boy did I get a lot of runes from those Tengu..

They used to drop gold armors to salvage runes from nearly every time, but they got nerfed.
